The Rose City Astronomers, a non-profit
501(c)(3) club, is pursuing a dream
to own an observing site. Our vision is:
Securing and managing a variety of
observing sites for private use by members, for community outreach and
special events organized by the RCA.
We are currently engaged in a capital fundraising
campaign to raise money to secure one or more observing sites for our Club to
use for public events, and members to use whenever they desire.
Dubbed the M-110 Campaign - our
goal is $110,000.
Your donation it is fully tax deductible
and we will happily provide you with a receipt that is acceptable to the IRS.
According to IRS rules we will provide a receipt that describes the donation and
the fact that it is not in exchange for any consideration (a new IRS wording),
however we will not provide a dollar amount for the value of the donation (per
